KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 (Bernama) -- The KL-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR
Expressway) today announced that it will be undertaking maintenance and remedial
works at the mainlane of the expressway to its continuous improvement efforts to
ensure the comfort, smooth and safe drive for LATAR’s users.
The works will be executed in stages beginning from 10 May 2012 until 31 May
2012 and there will be lanes closure at several sections along LATAR Expressway.
Temporary traffic management and pre-warning signages of the traffic diversion
will be implemented.
“During this period, we advise users to take precautions while driving by
following the signboards and decreasing the speed. The motorists are advised to
follow all traffic signages and instructions given by LATAR personnel while
approaching the affected area. Motorists are urged to keep alert to our Variable
Message Signages (VMS) which are located at the strategic areas along the
expressway for any important announcement or notification.” said En Amran Amir,
Chief Executive Officer of LATAR.
