After a performance at the Olympics opening ceremony, it was British musical legend Paul McCartney's turn to take to the stands, flanked by his daughter Stella (L) and his wife Nancy Shevell (R) as he cheered on Team GB during athletics events on Saturday. Three British athletes won three athletics gold medals Saturday in a period of 45 minutes, contributing to what The Sunday Times called "one of the greatest days in British sporting history."
