Malaika to sex up Zee show

Putrajaya (The Star/ANN) - Malaika Arora Khan - one of India's top item girls - will be here for a sizzling weekend of songs, music and dances in celebration of Bollywood movie magic.

Worshipped for her sensual dance moves, super model looks and bubbly personality, she will be the star attraction at the Zee Bollywood Nite 2012 at the Putrajaya Convention Centre, organised by the popular Zee Variasi channel that popularised a host of drama and reality show artistes.

The Saturday night show will also feature performances by Sara Khan and Sujay Reu, the lead pair of the drama Ram Milaye Jodi, Binny Sharma from Dance India Dance, Vaishnavi and Ruturaj from DID Little Masters as well as Abhilasha Chellum from SaReGaMaPa Singing Superstars.

In Bollywood parlance, item girls are beautiful dancers in revealing clothes who perform catchy, upbeat, often sexually provocative dance sequences to lend marketability to films.

Malaika, 39, who started off as a VJ when MTV India first started its operations and then went on to become a model and actress, is right at the top of the list of film producers intent to promote their movies.

"Don't miss the chance to see her gyrate her hips in her maiden performance here," an insider in Zee TV told The Daily Chilli, a news portal of The Star.

The event is powered by Pos Malaysia, Singer and Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa.

Tickets are priced at 350 ringgit, 250 ringgit, 165 ringgit & 100 ringgit. Showtime begins at 7pm at the Plenary Hall, Putrajaya Convention Centre.
