American singer Fiona Apple enters the music blogosphere on Tuesday with the release of her comeback single, “Every Single Night.” Another hot topic in The Hype Machine’s most blogged artists chart is Baltimore duo Beach House.

Apple is set to release her fourth album, ambitiously titled The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do. The LP is the followup to her third album Extraordinary Machine and her first studio release in seven years. “Fans shouldn’t be disappointed, it’s a magic piece of music,” writes We All Want Someone to Shout For of the new single. “Right around :45 (and with her language throughout) she evokes the painful songs of turn of century prisoners or workers of the fields which is both awkward and beautiful,” adds blogger Grndgd.

Dream-pop duo Beach House -- Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally -- return to the top ten with the release of a vinyl version of “Lazuli,” the first single from their upcoming album Bloom, on Record Store Day. Meanwhile, bloggers are circulating the vinyl release’s b-side track, “Equal Mind,” which Not Final describes “three minutes and forty seconds of pure Beach House goodness.”
