    MUSTAPA TO LEAD TRADE MISSION TO THAILAND

    BANGKOK, Feb 9 (Bernama) – Malaysian International Trade and Industry Minister

    Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed will be leading a two-day trade and investment

    mission to Thailand starting Feb 22.

    Top Malaysian businessmen will also join the mission aimed at enhancing

    bilateral trade and investment flows between the two countries.

    A business seminar on Trade and Investment Opportunities in Thailand and

    Malaysia will be held at a hotel, here, on Feb 23.

    The seminar is organised by Embassy of Malaysia, Thai Chamber of Commerce

    (TCC) and Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT), according to a statement from the

    embassy.

    The seminar will provide an excellent opportunity for Thai private sector

    representatives to learn directly from the minister about the latest

    developments in Malaysia including trade, investment and tourism opportunities

    available in the country.

    Construction, infrastructure development, tourism, agriculture, targeted

    manufacturing activities, healthcare and oil and gas are among the potential

    areas of cooperation and joint ventures between Thai and Malaysian companies.

    Participation in the seminar is free of charge.
