KUALA LUMPUR, May 3 — Twelve-year-old Nayati Shamelin Moodliar, who was believed to have been kidnapped a week ago, has been found and is back with his family.

Sham Moodliar posted a picture of his son hugging another family member on micro-blogging site Twitter at 9.42 this morning with the message “Nayati is home safe!!!!!!!!!”

According to The Star, the boy, who went missing last Friday, was released in Rawang at 7.30am.

A page on social media network Facebook set up to find the boy, who was believed to have been abducted in front of Mont Kiara International School, also confirmed the boy has been found.

“To all our family/friends/supporters of Nayati. We have got NAYATI back!!! He is back to our arms again! Thank you all for your support! We will post soon! Thank you — Moodliar Family,” said a posting on the page which has garnered over 18,000 likes.
