"I rather not discuss further as I've already been told off for speaking with the press. They don't understand it was the press that caught up with me at Wisma FAM (last Wednesday)," he added.

It remains unclear when the coach will be summoned again by MACC.

Mailsport, had on Thursday, revealed the coach met with MACC officials in Putrajaya followed by a meeting with FA of Malaysia (FAM) assistant secretary general Ahmad Fuad Daud. He claimed to have information — including "text messages" and "recordings" — on players and officials on the take.

Johor FA president Tunku Ismail Idris, had on Feb 10, claimed through his Twitter page that he was informed by the state police that MP Muar FC and NS Betaria were also being investigated for matchfixing. This was confirmed by FAM.

MP Muar FC and NS Betaria were "shocked" they were being investigated while Pos Malaysia immediately responded by saying "they have been conducting an internal investigation on this matter since early this year" and will give their

"fullest cooperation to FAM, MACC and the police in their investigation to ensure that this matter is resolved".
