Meanwhile, Special Affairs Department director-general Datuk Fuad Hassan
lauded the appointment of Dr Ali as the new KSN and said he hoped Dr Ali could
translate the government transformation programme in the civil service well.
"Maybe there will be changes and restructuring under his administration to
further strengthen the civil service," he said when contacted by Bernama.
Malaysian Museums Department director-general Datuk Ibrahim Ismail said he
hoped the appointment of Dr Ali as the new KSN would bring about a new spirit
among civil servants to raise Malaysaia''s image through effective implementation
of the government''s policies and programmes.
Veterans Affairs Department director-general Maj Gen Datuk Zulkiflee Mazlan
said he believed Dr Ali would bring the civil service to new heights while
Malaysian Ex-Servicemen''s Association president Datuk Muhammad Abdul Ghani was
of the opinion that the new KSN would "deliver the goods".
