Muhyiddin said the people were convinced of the BN government''s track record
of implementing socio-economic, cultural and political programmes over the last
55 years.
He also said that the nation''s success was recognised by the world community
which categorised Malaysia as one of the most developed of developing countries.
The deputy prime minister elaborated on the progress of Malaysia from an
agro-based country to a nation well-endowed in the industrial and services
sectors.
He said the government carried out careful planning to help the people meet
their needs through allocations for the various sectors annually.
