KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 — No report alleging Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of sodomising yet another person has been lodged to date, the police said today.
Bukit Aman CID director Datuk Seri Mohd Bakri Zinin confirmed that the police have not received any complaint from any undergraduate who was rumoured to have been sodomised by the opposition leader.
"To date, we have not received any report," he told The Malaysian Insider when contacted.
Yesterday, a pro-Umno blogger alleged that a university student had filed a police complaint accusing 64-year-old Anwar (picture) of sodomy.
Earlier this year, the PKR de facto leader was acquitted by the High Court of sodomising a former male aide, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, at a swanky condominium in Damansara Heighst here in June 2008.
The prosecution is appealing the verdict.
