29 Jun – It is a sad day for Malaysians as one of the country's acting veterans and comedians, Osman Kassim, better known as Osman Kering to fans, breathed his last at around 3.45pm just today at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) Kuala Lumpur due to lung and heart complications.
The bad news has been confirmed by his two surviving children, Al-Amin dan Norhidayah.
Before, the country has been shocked by rumours of his death in his home in Cheras early this month.
However, his wife, Che Norhayati Che Omar, 48, denied the allegations and revealed that her husband had been undergoing treatment in HUKM since 11 June and doctors have confirmed that his ill-being was caused by lung and heart infections.
His body is expected to be taken to Masjid Najihin, Cheras for burial.
The late Osman Kering is known for his appearances in the comedy drama films "Senario The Movie", "Tentang Bulan" dan "Man Laksa".
