4 May – It was revealed that JYJ's Park Yoo-chun will be designated as public service personnel for his service in the army instead of active duty due to his asthma.

Dkpopnews website reported that on 3 May, a representative of C-JeS Entertainment revealed, "Yoo-chun recently underwent his physical exam and received a level four grade due to his asthma, which he's had since he was younger."

Park Yoo-chun was also revealed to have complied with all of the examinations required by the Military Manpower Association, and even received a retest three times.

"However, in the end, the MMA decided that he would be best fit for reservist duty so he will serve as a public service personnel," the rep concluded.

Initially, Park Yoo-chun was required to report at training centre on 21 May. However, his agency has applied for postponement due to his obligation to the SBS drama, "Rooftop Prince."
