NIBONG TEBAL, July 12 (Bernama) -- Penang Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM)

has targeted RM1 million in advertisement revenue this year through its

MutiaraFM radio channel.

State RTM director Zahruddin Pilus said they had drawn up various marketing

strategies and approaches to achieve the goal.

"Last year we managed to get RM400,000. Although presently we have not

acquired much yet, we can realise our target through our marketing division," he

told reporters after launching the second season of the programme, Hindustan Dot

My, here today.

Meanwhile, he said the programme which promotes Hindi music had received

encouraging response not only from local listeners but also those in Kedah and

Perak.
