PERKASA WANTS ANWAR TO ANNOUNCE SHADOW CABINET THIS MONTH

KUALA LUMPUR, May 19 (Bernama) -- Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia

(Perkasa) today challenged opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to

announce the opposition''s shadow cabinet this month in view of the approaching

general election.

Perkasa information chief Ruslan Kasim said the people wanted to find out

from the shadow cabinet who would be given the trust and mandate to form the

next government.

"If Anwar refuses to announce the line-up now or delays it, it''ll be a ploy

by Anwar as we all know that he would usually promise some candidates certain

posts.

"He fears that his deceit will be exposed," Ruslan claimed in a statement

today.

He said the people wanted to know what cabinet posts would be given to Parti

Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, its deputy

president Azmin Ali and his wife Shamsidar Taharin, and PAS deputy president

Mohamed Sabu if the people chose the opposition group to form the next

government.
