SUBANG JAYA: The Subang Jaya Municipal Council is on a rat hunt to check health problems related to rodent infestation in the SS15 commercial area.
Health officers, accompanied by business owners, recently trapped 21 rats within four hours after baiting the rats with poison.
The growing rat population in the area, attributed to uncleanliness, has had the business community worried. Past campaigns to rid the area of rodents has had little effect.
A council spokesman more campaigns would be conducted to keep the area rat-free.
He appealed to the business community to co-operate by keeping their premises clean.
