    PETERLABS SHARES OVERSUBSCRIBED

    KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 (Bernama) -- PeterLabs Holdings Bhd which is enroute

    for listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia received a total of 3,573

    applications for 89,350,900 shares from the Malaysian public for the 15,000,000

    shares it offered to the public under its initial public offering.

    This was an oversubscription rate of 4.96 times, a statement issued by

    Malaysian Issuing House on behalf of the company said here today.

    PeterLabs had alloted 50 per cent of the shares offered to the public to the

    Bumiputera category.

    MIH said a total of 1,162 applications for 24,327,300 shares were received

    for the Bumiputera category, representing an oversubscription of 2.24 times

    while under the public category, 2,411 applications for 65,023,600 shares were

    received, representing an oversubscription of 7.67 times.
