Ku was speaking to reporters after attending a traditional games event

involving the police and the community, in conjunction with the 205th Police Day

celebrations in Kerinchi here today.

Also present were Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Mohmad Salleh and his

deputy, Datuk Amar Singh Ishar Singh, as well as district police chiefs.

Ku said the lawyer told the police that he was abducted and held captive at

a house in Rawang last Saturday.

He said the lawyer claimed to have had breakfast with several men at a cafe

in Metro Prima Kepong before he was taken to a house in Rawang.

There, the lawyer said he was assaulted and given something to drink, which

left him drowsy and unconscious.
