"Two of the robbers who had been arrested were merely executing orders from a third party who had planned the robbery," said Ab Rashid.
He added that the third suspect who is still at large could have obtained the schedule of the cash-in-transit processes at the shopping complex.
The robbery had gone sour after one of the security guards realised the pistol used during the robbery was fake and decided to take on the robbers.
Ab Rashid said initial police investigations showed that one of the robbers in his 20s had previous criminal records involving motorcycle theft.
Both, the suspects have been remanded for four days to facilitate investigations.
In the 10.40am robbery, the two robbers instead of getting away with an RM552,583 loot had ended up behind bars after the tables were turned on them.

The guards were carrying the money bag to replenish the atm machines when the incident took place.
They tried to grab the money bag but one of the security guards became suspicious of the pistol and decided to take on the two robbers.
