SHAH ALAM, May 17 (Bernama) -- Police seized 160,000 pills believed to be
Erimin 5 and Ecstasy worth RM5.2 million and arrested two local men in a raid on
a terrace house used to store the drugs in Taman Kinrara, Puchong, near here, on
Tuesday.
Selangor Narcotics CID chief, ACP Nordin Kadir said in the 10am operation,
police found 69,750 Erimin 5 pills and 29,900 Ecstasy pills which were kept in a
box in the master bedroom of the house.
"Police then checked the boot of a Proton Saga car parked in the house
compound and found 37,500 more Erimin pills and another 21,800 Ecstasy pills.
"We also seized another car to check on the financial resources of one of
the suspects who is unemployed," he told a news conference at the state police
headquarters, here, today.
Nordin said the two suspects were aged 30 and 36, and one of them had a
previous record involving drugs.

He said urine tests conducted on the two men found them to be positive for
drugs, and they were believed to be active since three months ago and linked to
a drug syndicate which was busted by police recently.
The two men are being remanded for a week to facilitate the investigation
under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
Last Saturday, police busted a drug syndicate processing Erimin 5 pills
worth RM43 million and arrested 25 members of the syndicate who included Taiwan
and Nepal nationals, in 15 raids conducted in Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Klang.
