SHAH ALAM, Oct 4 — Putrajaya will use unused land around the country for its 1 Malaysia affordable housing scheme (PR1MA) for the middle-income group, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said today.
The deputy prime minister said the houses built on such plots would be priced below RM300,000.
“For instance, plots of lands allocated for building schools but were not used for that purpose can be used to develop PR1MA projects,” Muhyiddin (picture) said at a gathering with Selangor NGO youth leaders at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) here.
