Quagliarella pens new contract with Juventus

Fabio Quagliarella has signed a new contract with Juventus that will keep him in Turin until the summer of 2015.

The striker still had two years to run on his previous deal with the Bianconeri but has now put pen to paper on a 12-month extension.

Quagliarella initially joined the club on loan from Napoli in August 2010 and made a blistering start to his Juve career, scoring nine goals in his first 17 Serie A appearances before tearing his anterior cruciate ligament midway through the season.

However, the Old Lady still opted to sign the forward on a permanent basis that summer and although Quagliarella took a long time to rediscover his best form after returning to action this term, he has scored two goals in his last four outings.
