KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 14 (Bernama) -- Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah
attended a fashion show at a hotel here tonight held in conjunction with the
19th Islamic Fashion Festival (IFF).
The show which featured Islamic fashion creations, was themed ''Oriental
Charm''.
The festival which runs for five days until Nov 18, will feature 14 fashion
shows involving 60 local and foreign fashion designers.
At tonight''s event, the Raja Permaisuri Agong also presented tokens of
appreciation to local fashion designers Syeba Yip and Andy Ho, and Itang Yunasz
from Indonesia.
The two-hour event also had local singers Hazami, Liza Aziz, Azlina Aziz and
Dennis Lau entertaining the audience.
Among the local designers taking part in the IFF are Datuk Tom Abang Saufi,
Datuk Radzuan Radziwill, Datuk Farah Khan and Albert King, while the foreign
designers include Jenny Lim (Taipei), Kanchan Couture (Hong Kong) and Amalina
Aman (Sydney).
