Institute (Ikmal) in recognition and his contribution to the country''s maritime

industry.

The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah presented the

conferment to Abdul Aziz at Ikmal''s annual dinner function at Concord Hotel

here, tonight.

The RMN in a statement said Abdul Aziz''s capability and contribution had an

an overall impact on Ikmal, spurring the institute to bestow him the

recognition.

"His commitment to maritime security and peace at the domestic and

international level has helped boost the regional maritime economy, especially

the shipping industry," it said.

Abdul Aziz is the second honorary fellow of Ikmal after former RMN chief,

Tan Sri Abdul Wahab Nawi.
