LONDON (AP) -- Russian men's basketball coach David Blatt says he will take a few weeks to rest and clear his head before deciding if he wants to return as coach after leading to the team to the bronze medal at the London Games.
Blatt says he's exhausted from the long season and preparing the national team for the Olympics. He has spoken with the Russian Federation about an extension before the Olympics, but they wanted to wait to see how the team finished.
Led by Andrei Kirilenko and Alexey Shved, the Russians beat Argentina on Sunday for the team's first basketball medal since the Soviet Union dissolved.
His contract is up and he says "it's my decision now."
