Sam Lee prefers non-celeb groomsmen

4 Feb – At a recent event, Hong Kong actor Sam Lee announced his plans to wed his girlfriend, Pei, in the last quarter of 2012. Though the looming wedding has yet to get the 37-year-old star nervous, the "Coweb" actor has confirmed that he will not be taking part in filming any television dramas till after his wedding, due to it's hectic work schedules, which in turn would give Sam time to devote himself to the wedding preparations.

The couple made plans to capture their wedding studio photos in Macau some time around March or April. HK $500,000 was set aside for his wedding funds, while Sam designated to spend more on his honeymoon to Maldives.

Asked whether he will try the current popular mainland trend of taking nude wedding photos, Sam said that he may consider figure painting instead.

"I do not hope for a celebrity-studded wedding, I only hope to greet my close friends on the wedding day instead. I only got to know Kevin Cheng last year, thus I will not ask him. If he has time, I will allow him to rest. There is a greater chance that Jazz Lam will be one of the groomsmen, as he knows my close friends." revealed the groom-to-be that mainly friends outside of the entertainment circle would be picked as his groomsmen.
