    SEIZE POTENTIAL IN HALAL MARKET, JAMIL KHIR TELLS ENTREPRENUERS

    BUTTERWORTH, Jan 28 (Bernama) -- Minister in the Prime Minister's Department

    Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom today urged entrepeneurs to get involved and seize

    opportunities in the halal products industry.

    "This industry with halal certification has a wide range of consumers

    including non-Muslims as they are confident of the cleanliness and safety of

    halal products.

    "Both halal products and halal certificates have high integrity value and

    are well accepted by consumers all over the world," he told reporters after

    officiating a function at Nasmir Hard Gelatin Capsules Sdn Bhd here today.

    The company produces empty halal gelatine capsules.
