SHAH ALAM, May 31 (Bernama) -- The Selangor government will be setting up a
committee to investigate a report that there had been a mistake in the gazetting
of the PKNS fooball field in Kelana Jaya, said Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri
Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
Speaking to reporters here today, he said the committee, which would be made
up of professionals, would get to the bottom of the matter.
Yesterday, a television station had reported that according to the Petaling
Jaya City Council, the land had been gazetted for commercial activities whereas
the same document on the gazetting with the Town Planning Department showed it
was meant for recreational activities.
