Sharon Chan puts career first over marriage
17 Jul – After denying rumours of an upcoming wedding with her boyfriend of ten years, actress Sharon Chan recently disclosed that her marriage plans will have to take a backseat at the moment.
According to Hong Kong's ON CC, the actress, who attended the press conference announcing an upcoming concert in Malaysia this August, revealed that she had just recently signed with a new record label.
"The wedding date has not been decided just yet. It might be at the end of this year or next year," she said.
The 35 year-old actress, who has been dating businessman William Lui for the past ten years, also dismissed rumours that she will be retiring after marriage, saying, "I will still be working. I am naturally a workaholic."
Asked if she will say no to kissing scenes after becoming a wife, Sharon replied, "Kissing scene is not an issue. But I guess I should film less intimate husband and wife scenes."
"But everything depends on the script," the actress added.
