KUALA LUMPUR, June 16 (Bernama) -- It must be the worst result in this season's Super League when Sabah were thrashed 0-9 by Lions XII of Singapore at Jalan Besar Stadium in the island republic tonight.
With this win, Lions XII collected three more points and remain at the top of the league with 47 points from 23 matches.
Lions'' goal fest began when Agu Casmir scored in the 19th minute followed by two goals from Hariss Harun in the 22nd and 44th minute.
After the break, Shahdan Sulaiman added two more goals for the hosts in the 62nd and 64th minute, with the other four scored by Irwan Shah (68th), Hariss Harun (73rd), Sufian Anuar (84th) and Shahrul Azhar (89th).
Kelantan also collected three points when they edged Kedah 2-1 at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in Kota Baharu.Mohamad Ghaddar Mahmoud opened scoring for Kelantan in the 22nd minute. Then a mistake made by Kedah''s Mohd Fazliata Taib became costly as he scored an own goal in the last minute of the first half.
Kedah''s consolation goal came in the 88th minute from Khairul Muhaimen.
At Perak Stadium in Ipoh, Perak defeated Johor FC 2-1. The goals for the hosts were scored by Mohd Fariuddin Roddin as early as in the 9th minute and Albert Bodjongo in the 49th. Johor FC''s only goal came from Arthur Henrique in the 68th minute.
Selangor narrowly beat Sarawak 1-0 at Stadium Negeri, Kuching with the goal scored by the visitors'' Bosko Balaban in the 8th minute.
Felda United also beat Negeri Sembilan 1-0, with Farderin Kadir scoring in the 74th minute.
Kuala Lumpur drew 1-1 with Selangor PKNS at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium in Kelana Jaya.
