    Singaporean women prefer tall men

Kuala Lumpur (The Star/ANN) - Most Singaporean women do not like short men, major Chinese dailies reported.

According to match-making company Lunch Actually, 70% of single women do not want partners shorter then them.

The women would just turn away and leave if they are matched with men shorter then them during speed-dating events.

The findings were concluded from a survey among 1,895 unmarried people in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong.

The survey also found most men would look for slim girlfriends.

Thirty per cent of the men would dump their partners if they (the women) become fat and 10% of the women would dump their fat boyfriends.

How do you feel about this article?

I always thought that love is the most important than look, money whatever is. Those poor souls who can dump partner just cause their body changed, don't know what is love about.

This is a sad facts that guys is still very concern about their GF's outlook appearance whereas girls are not so particular about this as guys. So in concliusion, we girls better not to become fat even after in a relationship. Or else, we better find a guy who really love what you are no matter what.

The article fail to point out the difference between what people want (taller, thinner, younger, more handsome, richer etc) versus what people will settle for. Theres a big gap in between.

Yep, 5 Cs doesn't include the word love, so just wake up and make lots of $$$. Otherwise you can only get your woman from overseas...

My former colleague is very short, less than 150 cm, and wants to date someone at least 180 cm, I tell her to take a look at herself in the mirror first!

      That ain't true love.
The fact of love is define as one doesn't matter 'bout the looks, money, background, height or whatsoever.
It is the acceptance of the another for the sense of happy-ness and the sense of security he/she given, and most importantly, Trust.
      With that, i end off...

They spelled 'than' as 'then'. Completely out of the topic but its so distracting. Its Yahoo, many people read Yahoo, at least spell correctly.
