Franciszek Smuda has revealed his Poland team to face Russia in their second Group A Euro 2012 encounter and the coach has elected to make one unforced defensive change in addition to the goalkeeping switch.
The co-hosts endured a disjointed performance in their opening game as they surrendered the lead to Greece despite having an extra player on the field following Sokratis Papastathopoulos' dismissal.
Keeper Wojciech Szczesny was shown red later in the match and is thus unavailable for the fixture with Dick Advocaat's side. He will be replaced between the sticks by resultant penalty-saving hero Przemyslaw Tyton.
Smuda has clearly recognised the array of attacking talent that Russia possess after seeing them dismantle the Czech Republic and has decided to shore up his midfield by bringing in Dariusz Dudka in place of wide player Maciej Rybus.
This will likely mean that Ludovic Obraniak will fill the space of the 22-year-old on the left with Jakub Blaszczykowski supporting Robert Lewandowski from the right.
