South Korean coach Lee Tae-Hoon likely to end contract with Cambodia national team

The Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) have announced that current national coach Lee Tae-Hoon's contract will not be renewed.

Federation spokesman May Tola also stated that the FFC will look for a qualified local coach to take over the reins after the departure of the South Korean in July, ahead of the AFF Cup qualifiers in October.

"Looking ahead to the Suzuki Cup qualifiers later this year, the national team would be entrusted to one of the local coaches," he told Phnom Penh Post.

"We have 10 A-licensed coaches in the country now. We are confident one of our own can fit in."

Lee Tae-Hoon was appointed to the Royal Khmer hot seat in August 2010 and became the fourth foreign coach to lead the nation in the past 12 years after Joachim Fickert, Scott O’Donnell and Yoo Kee-Heung.
