    Luis Suarez starts on the bench for Liverpool against Tottenham after sitting out since Boxing Day due to his suspension and captain Steven Gerrard is back in the starting line up after being rested by Kenny Dalglish at Molineux last week.

    Luis Saha and Ryan Nelsen both start on the bench for his new club as Tottenham face a struggle with injuries with Lennon, Van der Vaart, Gallas, Huddlestone and Defoe all missing for the trip to Anfield.
