KUALA TERENGGANU, May 21 (Bernama) -- The Terengganu police have detained
three men for their alleged involvement in the Bersih 3.0 rally in Kuala Lumpur
last April 28.
State police chief Datuk Jamshah Mustapa said the three suspects were
arrested during a house-to-house operation that was conducted a few days ago.
Two of them were arrested in Marang and the other in Kemaman, he said,
adding that the police were on the hunt for another suspect, believed to be from
Dungun.
The three suspects had been handed over to the Bukit Aman police for further
investigation, he told reporters here today.
On May 9, the Bukit Aman Police Headquarters gave a seven-day period to
individuals whose photos were published in the local media to turn themselves in
to help investigations in the Bersih 3.0 rally.
