    THREE KILLED IN ACCIDENT INVOLVING FIVE MOTORCYCLES

    JASIN, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- Three teenagers were killed and two others were

    injured in an accident involving five motorcycles at Km32 Jalan Kesang here

    yesterday.

    Police identified them as student Zafran Zainudin, 17, and Muhammad Nazri

    Musa, 18, both from Kampung Air Baruk Jasin, and Muhammad Firdaus Ibrahim, 19,

    from Kampung Air Panas Bemban.

    Jasin District Police Chief DSP Che Suza Che Hitam said the accident

    occurred about 11.45pm when Muhammad Firdaus, believed to riding his motorcycle

    at high speed and heading towards Jalan Kesang, lost control of the machine,

    causing it to skid and crashed into four motorcycle which were heading towards

    an opposite direction when he veered into their path.

    Two of them died at the scene and their bodies were sent to the Jasin

    Hospital, while the third victim died at the hospital, he said when contacted

    here today.

    He said the injured were admitted to the same hospital.
