KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Jan (Bernama) -- Tindakan pemimpin PAS yang sering berubah

pendirian dalam beberapa isu kebelakangan ini jelas mencalarkan kredibiliti

ulama parti itu serta menunjukkan kejahilan mereka kata Timbalan Menteri di

Jabatan Perdana Menteri Datuk Dr Masitah Ibrahim.

Sebagai contoh, dalam isu penggunaan kalimah Allah dalam Bible versi bahasa

Melayu, beliau berkata pemimpin PAS dilihat sering mengubah kenyataan mereka

hanya kerana mendapat tentangan hebat daripada sesuatu pihak.

"Pemimpin PAS jelas sekali bercakap atas dasar politik dan bukan berdasarkan

agama, sebab itu kenyataan mereka boleh berubah-ubah dari semasa ke semasa.

"Kalau bercakap ikut dasar agama, mereka perlu bercakap benar walaupun pahit

dan tidak disukai pelbagai pihak, dan ini jelas menunjukkan mereka ini tidak

jujur kerana berjuang atas tiket politik," katanya kepada pemberita selepas

majlis penyampaian sumbangan kepada pondok-pondok di pejabat Yayasan Pembangunan

Pondok Malaysia (YPPM) di sini hari ini.

Masitah berkata tindakan pemimpin PAS yang rata-rata adalah ulama cukup

mencalarkan kredibiliti mereka yang menggambarkan seolah-olah ulama boleh

dipilih atas tiket politik semata-mata.

"Ini memberi peluang serta ruang kepada rakyat untuk menilai ulama PAS sama

ada mereka benar-benar layak untuk menjadi pemimpin atau hanya berjuang atas

dasar politik. Inilah hikmah yang diberikan Allah menunjukkan bahawa pemimpin

PAS tidak tetap pendirian," katanya.

Beliau turut memberi contoh apabila Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (Jakim)

mengumumkan buat julung kalinya Kelantan menjadi tuan rumah Majlis Tilawah

al-Quran Peringkat Kebangsaan Ke-56 Mei depan, Menteri Besar Kelantan Datuk Nik

Abdul Aziz Nik Mat sekelip mata menukar pendiriannya yang sebelum ini mengatakan

wanita tidak boleh memperdengarkan bacaan al-Quran.

"Sekarang mereka membenarkan semula wanita di negeri itu menyertai tilawah

al-Quran berbeza dengan pandangan sebelum ini mengatakan suara wanita yang

membaca al-Quran secara Taranum adalah aurat," katanya.

Ditanya mengenai tindakan PAS menerbit dan mengedar buku Amanat Haji Hadi,

Masitah meminta Presiden Pas, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang tampil memohon maaf

secara terbuka serta menarik balik kenyataan beliau yang terkandung di dalam

amanat itu.

"Saya difahamkan buku itu hanya diedarkan di kalangan ahli sahaja, namun

bagi saya amanat itu bukannya isu politik tetapi boleh memecahbelahkan umat

Islam apabila berlaku pertelagahan," katanya.
