KUALA LUMPUR, 22 Ogos (Bernama) -- Keadaan trafik di beberapa lebuh raya

utama sesak dan perlahan sejak petang tadi berikutan orang ramai mula pulang ke

destinasi masing-masing setelah berakhirnya cuti umum sempena Aidilfitri.

Jurucakap Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) berkata trafik di bahagian

selatan Lebuhraya Utara Selatan (PLUS) bergerak perlahan di Simpang Empat ke

Pedas-Linggi, Ayer Hitam ke Machap dan Simpang Renggam ke Kulaijaya bermula

6 petang tadi.

Beliau berkata di bahagian utara PLUS pula, kawasan yang mengalami kesesakan

sejak tengah hari tadi ialah di Changkat Jering ke Terowong Menora, Tapah ke

Bidor dan Ipoh ke Kuala Kangsar.

"Kawasan di Sungai Petani selatan ke Sungai Dua, Bandar Baru ke Bukit Merah,

Simpang Pulai ke Gopeng dan sungkai ke Slim River mula mengalami kesesakan sejak

petang tadi kira-kira 3 petang," katanya ketika dihubungi malam ini.

Beliau berkata trafik di Jambatan Pulau Pinang menghala ke Bayan Lepas juga

bertali arus sejak 10 malam tadi disebabkan hujan manakala tol masuk ke jambatan

itu pula sesak sejak 6 petang.

TRAFIK-PERLAHAN 2 (AKHIR) KUALA LUMPUR

Trafik di Lebuhraya Pantai Timur, yang sebelum ini lancar, mula bertali arus

tetapi terkawal sejak 9 malam tadi.

"Berlaku pertambahan kenderaan di Gambang menuju ke Karak serta dari Bentong

ke Plaza Tol Gombak," katanya.

Namun, katanya keadaan trafik di plaza tol Sungai Besi dan Jalan Duta adalah

lancar.
