New trailer for "The Peanuts Movie"

19 Nov – It was previously reported that 20th Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios were working together to produce an adaptation of Charles M. Schulz's famous comic strip, "Peanuts".

After a couple of years, audiences are finally getting a sneak peek of the upcoming 3D computer-animated feature film, in the form of photo and trailer releases. The movie's latest teaser is its second trailer, which shows Snoopy lost in his imagination again as he battles his aviation rival, the Red Baron.

Helmed by Steve Martino, who co-directed successful animated features "Horton Hears a Who!" and "Ice Age: Continental Drift", "The Peanuts Movie" will mark the first time for the comic to be adapted onto the big screen in a 3D graphic format.

It is the fifth feature film based on the comic, with the first one being 1969's "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" and the last one released in 1980, "Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don't Come Back!!)". It is made to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the comic strip.

"The Peanuts Movie" cracks open in cinemas worldwide in November 2015.
