PETALING JAYA: A 56-year-old woman suffered a broken nose and fractured ribs while losing valuables to snatch thieves on Monday evening.
The woman was walking back to Menara Milenium apartment with her 26-year-old daughter when two men on a motorcycle approached them.
Selangor CID chief SAC Mohd Adnan Abdullah said: "In the scuffle between the robbers and the victim, the lady was pushed away which caused her to fall on the roadside. She lost her handbag containing her wallet, handphone and other personal belongings."
Barely 24 hours after the incident, the suspects, aged 18 and 20, were picked up at Taman Datuk Harun based on a description given by the victim's daughter.
