    TWO MEN DIE AFTER CAR SKIDDED AT LPT

    KUANTAN, Feb 6 (Bernama) - Two men were killed while two others were hurt

    after their car skidded at Km117.7 East Coast Highway (LPT) near Temerloh, early

    today.

    The dead were identified as car driver Ismadi Kechik, 25, a carwash worker,

    and front passenger, Muhammad Nazir Abd Khalit, 22, a trader.

    The two hurt were rear passenger Alif Ridzuan Mohamad Nazeri, 19, and Ahmad

    Ridzuan Rokbi, 23.

    Pahang traffic police chief ASP Zainalabidin Othman said the foursome were

    travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Temerloh when the accident occured at 6.20am.

    "The car believed driven by Ismadi suddenly went out of control, skidded and

    hit the metal railing before turning turtle.

    "The four close friends were thrown out of the car," Zainalabidin told

    Bernama here today.

    Ismadi and Nazir died on the spot while the two hurt were treated at Sultan

    Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital, Temerloh.

    The case is investigated under Section 41 (1) of Road Transport Act 1987.
