    TWO PUSPEN INMATES ESCAPE USING STAFF'S 'CLEAN' MOTORCYCLE

    BANDAR BAHARU, Feb 6 (Bernama) -- Two inmates of the Narcotic Addiction

    Rehabilitation Centre (Puspen) in Serdang here made their escape using a ''clean''

    motorcycle that belonged to a staff of the centre here today.

    Bandar Baharu District Police Chief Deputy Supt Helmi Hashim said the duo

    who were asked to wash the motorcycle that belonged to a staff, escaped at about

    10am using the same motorcycle.

    "The staff who came about 30 minutes later to collect his motorcycle was

    shocked to see his Yamaha motorcycle and the two inmates missing," Helmi told

    Bernama when contacted.

    The staff later lodged a police report.

    The two inmates, in their 30s, were from Paya Besar, Lunas, Kulim.

    Helmi urged anyone with information regarding the duo to contact the police

    at 04-407722.
