Yan Kuan writes romantic message to wife before reception

25 Mar – After registering their marriage last August, Chinese actors Yan Kuan (also known as Kevin Yan) and Sunny Du recently held their wedding reception in Bali.

According to QQ, one day before the big day, Yan posted a long speech on Weibo, saying "I want to thank Sunny for staying by my side throughout the years. I would also like to express my gratitude for friends and fans who have been cheering us on as a couple."

"Marriage life has made me become more mature as a man. I used to say that I didn't want any changes. I have always thought myself as a big boy rather than a man," said the actor.

He added, "However, now I have to take responsibility as a man to Sunny, our families, our parents, and to the whole society."

To Sunny, Yang wrote a longer message saying, "It doesn't matter who you are to the eyes of others, you will forever be my princess. I want to give you the best wedding there is. I'll always take care of our new family, and I will try and try again for the sake of our future."

He ended by saying, "I believe that marriage is not the end of love, but the beginning of happiness."

Meanwhile, it was reported that Yang Mi, who also held her wedding with Hawick Lau in Bali, assisted a lot in the couple's preparation.

Held in a gazebo situated at Ayana Resort and Spa, which overlooks the sea, Sunny Du looked stunning in her white dress, while the actor chose an unconventional light brown colour suit for his wedding attire.
