Zhang Jingchu joins "Mission Impossible 5"

8 Oct – Chinese actress Zhang Jingchu was revealed to have joined the cast of action franchise, "Mission Impossible 5".

According to Film Business Asia, the actress will be joining the Hollywood cast including Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Alec Baldwin, and Simon Pegg.

However, no details have been released regarding her role, as it has to do with the movie's major plot twist.

This is not the first international project for the actress. Zhang, who is among the few Chinese stars who speak English fluently, has previously worked on 2006's "Rush Hour 3", and Florian Gallenberger's "John Rabe".

The latest instalment of the spy franchise will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie ("Jack Reacher", "The Way of the Gun").
