KUALA TERENGGANU, July 20 (Bernama) -- Rural and Regional Development

Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Ibrahim Muhamad and Malaysian Armed Forces

Chief of Staff Lt-Gen Datuk Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed head the list of

award recipients in conjunction with the 49th birthday of the Sultan of

Terengganu, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, today.

They received the Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Terengganu (SPMT) which carries

the title Datuk.

Four others received the Darjah Dato' Setia Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin

Terengganu (DSMZ) which carries the title Datuk. They are Kota Baharu High Court

Judge Tuan Ahmad Zaidi Ibrahim, National Sports Council Director General Datuk

Che Zolkples Embong, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Chief

Regulatory and Supervisory Officer Datuk Jailani Johari and Health Ministry

Planning and Development Division Director Datuk Dr Abd Rahim Mohamad.

Twenty others received the Darjah Datuk Paduka Mahkota Terengganu (DPMT),

which also carries the title Datuk.

They are State Legal Advisor Noorbahri Baharuddin; State Executive Council

Members Yahya Khatib Mohamad, Datuk Abdul Rahin Mohd Said and Toh Chin Yaw;

Syarikat MHD Ind(M) Sdn Bhd Executive Director Tengku Nasruddin Tengku Ibrahim,

National Palace Grand Chamberlain Datuk Tengku Farok Hussin Tengku Abdul Jalil

and State Service Commission Chairman Isa @ Ghazali Endut.



State Land and Mineral Director Tuan Mamat Tuan Ngah, Dungun District

Officer Datuk Mustofa Abd Rahman, Armoured Corps Director at the Army

Headquarters Brig-Gen Datuk Adnan Abu Bakar, Pangkalan Chepa Eight Brigade

Eleven people received the Darjah Setia Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin

Terengganu (SMZ), among them Terengganu Foundation Director Aziz Mamat, TESDEC

College Chief Executive Officer Mohd Akil Mat, Kuala Terengganu District Officer

Wan Zawawi Wan Ismail, Terengganu Syariah High Court Judge Shaikh Ahmad Ismail,

State Election Commission Director Mohd Noor Daud and Maidam Chief Executive

Officer Wan Harujan Sulaiman.

Thirteen people received the Darjah Setia Mahkota Terengganu (SMT), among

them Besut District Council President Wan Mustafa Wan Hasan, Kemaman District

Council President Mustafar Khalid, Dungun District Council President Harun

Mohamad, State Sports Council Director Zainal Abidin Husin, Marang District

Officer A. Rahman Che Ali and Terengganu Menteri Besar Political Secretary Wan

Ahmad Nizam Wan Abdul Hamid.

Eleven people received the Darjah Ahli Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Terengganu

(AMZ), among them State Budget Director Mohd Shukri Azam, Kuala Terengganu City

Council Secretary Samiun Salleh and State Kemas Director Nor Hazelina Hashim.



Other AMZ recipients include Istana Negara Chief Administrative Officer Cik

Fariza Azura Mohd Husain, Istana Negara Chief Security Officer Supt Jamalullail

Ahmad, Kuala Lumpur Terengganu Palace Supervisor Capt Nurshrulhami Johari, pilot

Capt Nik Ahmad Huzlan Nik Hussain and Istana Negara Supervisor Major Mastura

Mohd Saad.

Seventeen people received the Darjah Ahli Mahkota Terengganu (AMT), among

them three national cyclists Mohd Azizulhasni Awang, Anuar Manan and Fatehah

Mustafa; Raja Permaisuri Agong Security Officer Cik Nurulhuda Mohd Salleh, Syed

Jaafar Syed Mohamad who is a security assistant at the office of the Sultan of

Terengganu and Shafee Omar who is a custom assistant administrative officer at

the office of the Sultan of Terengganu.

Nine people receive the Pingat Jasa cemerlang (PJC), 142 the Pingat Jasa

Kebaktian, seven the Pingat Bintang Lama Berjawatan (BLB) and 19 the Pingat Lama

Berjawatan (PLB).

The investiture ceremony will take place at Istanah Maziah, here. Awards and

medals will be conferred by the Regent of Terengganu Tengku Muhammad Ismail

Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin.
