KUALA LUMPUR, 13 Ogos (Bernama) -- Nasib 49 anak yatim serta kelainan upaya

warga Kementerian Penerangan Komunikasi dan Kebudayaan (KPKK) hari ini mendapat

perhatian Persatuan Suri dan Anggota Wanita Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia

(Puspanita) KPKK.

Mereka menerima bantuan dan sumbangan berupa duit raya, kuih-muih dan

pakaian daripada Puspanita KPKK sempena perayaan Aidilfitri yang menjelang tiba.

Isteri Menteri Penerangan Komunikasi dan Kebudayaan Datuk Seri Dr Rais

Yatim, Datin Seri Maznah Rais berkata ini merupakan satu usaha murni bagi

memastikan kebajikan anak-anak yatim serta kurang upaya mendapat pembelaan.

"Anak-anak ini merupakan anak-anak kepada ahli Puspanita KPKK yang bertugas

di beberapa jabatan dan agensi antaranya Pertubuhan Berita Nasional Malaysia

(Bernama), Arkib Negara Malaysia (ANM) dan Jabatan Filem Negara Malaysia.

"Saya harap sumbangan ini dapat memberi sinar baru dan keceriaan kepada

mereka untuk menyambut Aidilfitri tidak lama lagi," katanya selepas majlis

Khatam al-Quran dan Sumbangan Kepada Anak-Anak Yatim serta Kelainan Upaya di

sini, hari ini.

PUSPANITA-SUMBANGAN 2 (AKHIR) KUALA LUMPUR

Turut hadir Pengerusi Puspanita, Datin Seri Rohaya Harun.

Maznah yang merupakan Penaung Puspanita, berharap sumbangan itu dapat

membantu meringankan beban perbelanjaan keluarga pada Aidilfitri ini.

Terdahulu, beliau bersama kira-kira 200 anggota Puspanita mengadakan majlis

khatam al-Quran yang merupakan acara tahunan persatuan pada bulan

Ramadan.

Katanya acara ini merupakan kemuncak daripada majlis tadarus al-Quran yang

diadakan bermula 2 Ogos lepas di setiap jabatan serta agensi di bawah KPKK

antaranya Bernama, ANM, Jabatan Penyiaran Malaysia dan Perbadanan Kemajuan

Kraftangan Malaysia.

Mereka turut menunaikan solat Dhuha dan Tasbih secara berjemaah.
