Ajaran Syiah yang semakin menular di dalam negara dibawa bertujuan menimbulkan pergaduhan, kata bekas Perdana Menteri ,Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad dalam sidang media hari ini sempena perhimpunan NGO membantu Palestin di Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra (PWTC).

Dr Mahathir berkata, rakyat Malaysia sudah berpecah kerana pelbagai fahaman politik dan isu penularan ajaran Syiah memberikan lebih banyak kesan buruk kepada masyarakat Muslim dalam negara.

"Di Malaysia, kita sudah berpecah kerana politik Sekarang kita ada pula Syiah dan Sunni.

"Syiah dan Sunni mesti bergaduh pastinya, mengapa mereka memiliki cara berbeza dalam menterjemahkan fahaman Islam kalau bukan untuk gaduh," kata Dr Mahathir apabila disoal mengenai fahaman Syiah yang semakin menjadi kontroversi di Malaysia.

Dr Mahathir yang juga Pengerusi Yayasan Keamanan Global Perdana (PGPF) menyifatkan Malaysia sebagai sebuah negara yang bertuah kerana majoritinya adalah penganut Sunni berbanding negara Arab yang ketika ini bergelut dengan kancah perang saudara akibat berlainan fahaman.

"Malaysia sangat bernasib baik kerana kita memiliki majoritinya adalah penganut Sunni Muslim, jadi kita tidak perlu bergaduh.

"Tapi sekarang orang mahu bawa Syiah, mahu bawa pelbagai bentuk ajaran supaya mereka dapat pecah-belahkan kita," katanya.

Apabila ditanya sama ada kerajaan bersikap terlalu menekan dan drastik ke atas penganut Syiah di Malaysia, Dr Mahathir berkata: "Terdapat pelbagai cara lain untuk menangani masalah ini."

Syiah diwartakan haram oleh Muzakarah Khas Jawatankuasa Fatwa Majlis Kebangsaan Bagi Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Malaysia pada 5 Mei 1996.

Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN) baru-baru ini mengatakan terdapat seramai 250,000 penganut Syiah bergiat aktif dalam negara dan menegaskan penularan fahaman ajaran tersebut kian membimbangkan kerana ia boleh membawa kepada perpecahan umat Islam.

Setakat ini 10 negeri sudah mewartakan ajaran Syiah bertentangan dengan Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah, manakala empat negeri (Pahang, Kelantan, Sabah dan Sarawak) masih dalam proses pewartaan.

Susulan tekanan ke atas penganut Syiah di Malaysia, Shia Right Watch (SRW) satu organisasi yang melindungi kepentingan pengikut Syiah sedunia menggesa layanan adil dari kerajaan terhadap pengikut syiah di negara ini.

Permintaan itu terkandung dalam surat yang dikirimkan kepada Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom dan Menteri Besar Kedah, Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir.

Pada hujung bulan lalu, Mufti Perak Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria berkata bukan semua pengikut Syiah boleh diperangi, malah ada di kalangan mereka pada kaca mata Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah tidak sesat secara keseluruhannya, kata Mufti Perak Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria.

Beliau menegaskan perihal ibadah golongan Zaidiah yang terletak di bawah pecahan Syiah diterima kerana tidak berbeza dengan pegangan mazhab Shafie.

Mufti Perak itu juga mendedahkan terdapat kira-kira 70 mazhab yang terangkum dalam fahaman Syiah. Seorang ahli akademik dari sebuah universiti tempatan yang terlibat dalam kajian ketamadunan menyifatkan isu Syiah hangat diperkatakan berikutan krisis di Timur Tengah yang belum menemui jalan penyelesaian.

Jika isu itu terus diperbesarkan di Malaysia, katanya, tidak mustahil negara juga bakal berdepan kemelut perang saudara, malah mungkin mengheret kaum lain yang tidak terlibat dalam isu itu.

“Sebelum kejatuhan Presiden Mesir Mohamed Morsi, diskriminasi kaum  berlaku kepada penganut Kristian dan Syiah di sana. Empat orang berfahaman Syiah dibunuh dengan kejam dalam insiden itu,” katanya.

Ahli akademik itu menganggap serangan terhadap Syiah di negara ini disebabkan pengaruh golongan Salafi yang membenci golongan berkenaan walaupun mereka tidak mencetuskan huru-hara dalam negara.

Katanya, antara sebab kerajaan Kedah menggunakan pendekatan mengharamkan Syiah di negeri itu kerana bimbang provokasi tercetus antara pengikut Syiah dan ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah di negeri berkenaan. - 15 Ogos, 2013.
