KUALA LUMPUR, 27 Dis (Bernama) -- Belia yang berusia antara 21 dan 30 tahun

boleh mula memohon rebet RM200 bagi pembelian telefon pintar 3G terpilih

daripada pengedar berdaftar mulai Selasa depan.

Pengerusi Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) Datuk

Mohamed Sharil Tarmizi berkata permohonan di bawah Pakej Komunikasi Belia itu

boleh dibuat menerusi pendaftaran dalam talian di http://nbi.skmm.gov.my/.

Skim itu berasaskan siapa cepat dia dapat dan khas bagi 1.5 juta belia yang

layak yang boleh mendapatkan telefon pintar itu selagi stok masih ada, katanya

dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.

Mohamed Sharil berkata belia yang layak menikmati rebet RM200 itu boleh

membeli telefon pintar 3G terpilih berharga sehingga RM500 daripada pengedar

terpilih dan ejen yang dilantik oleh penyedia perkhidmatan.

"Tujuannya ialah untuk memperluaskan insentif itu merangkumi belia daripada

kalangan berpendapatan rendah yang masih belum menggunakan telefon pintar dan

tidak mampu untuk menaik taraf telefon lama 2G mereka kepada telefon pintar 3G

yang asas.

"Mereka yang mampu memiliki telefon berharga RM500 sebenarnya bukanlah

kategori yang dihasratkan atau pasaran sasaran," katanya.

SKMM-REBET 2 (AKHIR) KUALA LUMPUR

Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak mengumumkan rebet RM200 sekali

sahaja bagi pembelian telefon pintar 3G kepada 1.5 juta belia yang layak

menerusi Pakej Komunikasi Belia ketika membentangkan Belanjawan 2013 pada

September lepas dalam usaha memberi belia akses kepada gerbang maklumat.

Dengan rebet itu, mereka dijangka membayar tidak lebih daripada RM300 untuk

memiliki sebuah telefon pintar 3G baharu, katanya sambil menolak dakwaan bahawa

had harga RM500 adalah rendah memandangkan terdapat lebih 20 model telefon

berjenama yang dilengkapi kemudahan 3G.

"Syarikat telekomunikasi yang mengambil bahagian dan operator rangkaian maya

mudah alih akan menawarkan tidak lebih daripada lima dan mungkin sehingga 10

atau 12 model di bawah inisiatif itu menerusi kedai pengedar mereka.

"Oleh itu, belia seharusnya mencari logo ''Pakej Komunikasi Belia'' yang akan

dipaparkan pada kain rentang dan bunting di kedai itu atau mereka juga boleh

menyemak laman web penyedia perkhidmatan bagi mendapatkan senarai telefon pintar

dan kedai pengedar yang mengambil bahagian," katanya.

Beliau berkata berdasarkan kajian yang dijalankan oleh SKMM, lebih 90

peratus pengguna berada dalam segmen prabayar tetapi syarikat telekomunikasi

hanya menyediakan insentif telefon bimbit bagi kontrak pascabayar.

Sementara itu, Mohamed Sharil berkata pemilik perniagaan kecil berumur

antara 18 dan 65 tahun boleh mula memohon geran RM1,000 menerusi ''Get Malaysian

Business Online'' mulai Selasa depan (1 Jan), juga dengan mendaftar dalam talian

di http://nbi.skmm.gov.my/.

Beliau berkata usahawan kecil yang mendaftar di laman web dan memenuhi semua

terma serta syarat akan menerima geran RM1,000 daripada SKMM yang akan

dimasukkan terus ke dalam akaun bank tempatan pemohon yang berjaya.
