KOTA BAHARU, 8 April (Bernama) -- Persetujuan PAS supaya DAP menggunakan

lambang parti itu pada pilihan raya umum ke-13 (PRU13) disifatkan sebagai

langkah yang salah dalam perjuangan parti itu membangunkan agama Islam dan umat

Islam, kata seorang tokoh akademik.

Pensyarah Fakulti Undang-Undang dan Perhubungan Antarabangsa Universiti

Sultan Zainal Abidin Datuk Prof Dr Hussin Abdul Rahman berkata beliau melihat

keputusan itu sebagai suatu cara PAS untuk memenangi hati pemimpin DAP dan pada

masa yang sama kerana ia mahu memerangi Umno secara habis-habisan.

Beliau yang juga bekas pengarah Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Kelantan,

berkata tumpuan PAS untuk memerangi Umno habis-habisan itu akan menyebabkan

proses membina dan membangunkan sebuah generasi dan peradaban Islam diabaikan.

Langkah itu, katanya berbeza dengan cara Umno yang merancang untuk memenangi

Islam melalui strategi maqassid.

"Tesis pemimpin PAS adalah apabila Umno musnah, apabila pakatan PAS, PKR

dan DAP memerintah, maka di situlah Islam terbangun...(tesis pemimpin PAS)

proses ini tidak betul," katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama di sini, hari ini.

PAS-LAMBANG 2 KOTA BAHARU

Akhbar hari ini melaporkan PAS tidak akan menarik balik persetujuannya

membenarkan DAP menggunakan lambang parti itu pada PRU13 meskipun ia menimbulkan

keresahan anggotanya di peringkat akar umbi.

Presiden PAS Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang dilaporkan berkata bahawa kebenaran

itu diberikan kerana PAS dan DAP mempunyai persefahaman bersama atas konsep

resolusi yang disepakati antara parti dalam pakatan pembangkang.

Dr Hussin turut mempersoalkan bagaimana PAS boleh mengharapkan pemimpin

DAP seperti Karpal Singh dan Lim Kit Siang serta pemimpin PKR Datuk Anwar

Ibrahim untuk membangunkan Islam dan Melayu?

"Langkah membenarkan DAP menggunakan logo PAS menyamai memberi tapak atau

platform dan nafas untuk menjamin survival DAP secara habis-habisan, sekali gus

strategi pakatan untuk memerangi Umno habis-habisan, ini langkah yang tidak

baik, dari sudut dasar, strategi dan taktik salah dan silap," katanya.

Sementara itu tokoh akademik, Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Mahmood Zuhdi Abdul

Majid berkata pendirian PAS membenarkan DAP untuk menggunakan lambang parti

itu untuk bertanding pada pilihan raya umum ini, telah dijangka.

PAS-LAMBANG 3 (AKHIR) KOTA BAHARU

"Keputusan boleh diubah-ubah. Perlembagaan (parti) adalah benda yang kita

tulis. Orang boleh ubah. Apa-apa perkara yang berbangkit daripada itu, tak payah

fikir.

"Apa yang penting dilihat ialah PAS sanggup bersekongkol dengan DAP, parti

cauvinis yang selama ini menentang keistimewaan Melayu dan Islam. Apa yang dia

(PAS) buat tak perlu jadi perhitungan lagi," katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama di

sini, hari ini.

Ketika ditanya mengenai calon bukan Islam yang bakal diletakkan PAS di

beberapa kawasan pada pilihan raya umum nanti, Mahmood Zuhdi mengandaikan PAS

tidak mempunyai pengalaman yang luas.

"Saya rasa, (PAS) kurang pengalaman dalam mengurus pendirian parti berkaitan

komposisi kaum dalam parti. Jadi kita ingat orang sama dengan kita, naif. Dengan

cara itu dia merombak status quo yang ada, terutama perjuangan Islam.

"Sebuah parti Islam seharusnya berdiri di atas kaki sendiri dan perlu

percaya kepada tuhan. Kemenangan akan dicapai tanpa mengubah pendirian. Kalau

tak mampu berjuang, duduk diam-diam," katanya.
