TAWAU, 8 Sept (Bernama) -- Langkah kerajaan menubuhkan tadika perpaduan di

kawasan perumahan dan kampung menepati wawasan negara untuk melahirkan rakyat

berpengetahuan, kata Menteri Belia dan Sukan Sabah Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar

Titingan.

Katanya kanak-kanak yang mendapat pendidikan di tadika mempunyai kelebihan

apabila mereka memasuki alam pendidikan formal.

Pada masa yang sama, guru-guru prasekolah mempunyai tanggungjawab besar

dalam memastikan kanak-kanak ini bersedia memasuki alam persekolahan sebenar,

katanya ketika melancarkan program Si Cilik Aktif Tadika Perpaduan, di sini hari

ini.

Sehubungan itu beliau meminta ibu bapa agar tidak mengetepikan sumbangan

golongan pendidik prasekolah selain memberi sokongan penuh dalam menjayakan

aktiviti di tadika perpaduan yang dihadiri oleh anak masing-masing.

Pada satu majlis lain semalam, Tawfiq mengajak seluruh rakyat di Sabah

menanam semangat cintakan negara yang mendalam di sanubari mereka.

Semangat cintakan negara ini merupakan tonggak utama dalam memastikan

keharmonian masyarakat dan kemakmuran dapat dikekalkan, katanya ketika berucap

pada Konsert 50 Tahun Sabah Merdeka Dalam Malaysia.
