KUALA LUMPUR, 1 April (Bernama) -- Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Kemajuan Islam

Malaysia (Jakim) Datuk Othman Mustapha hari ini menasihati semua pihak

supaya berpolitik dengan penuh adab dan sopan mengikut tuntutan Islam.

Dalam satu kenyataan, beliau meminta semua pihak sentiasa sensitif dengan

kenyataan yang diberikan apatah lagi isu yang boleh dikaitkan dengan agama.

"Saya menasihati semua pihak khususnya (pemimpin) parti-parti politik

walaupun tengah ghairah dengan pelbagai emosi, jadilah orang politik yang tahu

beradab dan sopan.

"Mengaitkan baginda Rasulullah dengan rakaman video seks adalah menyalahi

adab seorang Muslim. Perbuatan secara lisan atau bertulis amat tidak wajar

kerana ini boleh dikategorikan semacam menghina, merendahkan dan mengaibkan

Baginda," katanya.

Othman mengeluarkan kenyataan tersebut berikutan tindakan Penolong

Setiausaha Satu Dewan Pemuda Pas Pusat Khairul Fahmi Mat Som yang menghina Nabi

Muhammad S.A.W. melalui twitter beliau baru-baru ini.

Pada 11.58 pagi 27 Mac 2013 Khairul Fahmi yang menggunakan akaun twitter

@fahmipkg mengeluarkan kenyataan: "Kalau Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. masih hidup

sekarang ni, mungkin video seks Baginda pun UMNO akan keluarkan...jahanam UMNO."

Kenyataan tersebut disifatkan sebagai menghina Rasulullah dan dikecam banyak

pihak.

Mengulas tindakan Khairul Fahmi, Othman berkata dalam urusan politik, semua

pihak diminta tidak menimbulkan kontroversi semata-mata kerana mengikut emosi

tanpa memikirkan akibatnya.

"Tindakan mengaitkan baginda Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. dengan perkara-perkara

negatif adalah (perbuatan) tidak bertanggungjawab dan tentulah satu fitnah dan

penghinaan yang boleh menimbulkan kegelisahan dan kemarahan.

"Janganlah kerana marahkan orang lain sehingga sanggup mengaitkan Rasulullah

dengan terminologi yang negatif," katanya.

Ini penting bagi mengelakkan masyarakat memandang sinis kepada Baginda dan

mencerminkan kejahilan seseorang yang mengeluarkan kenyataan sedemikian, kata

Othman.

Katanya umat Islam mesti menjauhi penggunaan terminologi seperti ini kerana

ia boleh menjejaskan akidah dan membatalkan pahala.

"Semua orang (Islam) mengakui Rasulullah adalah junjungan, qudwah dan ikutan

sehingga menjadi contoh kepada sejarawan dan intelektual di segenap lapisan

tamadun.

"Sebagai ummah yang mencintai Rasul sepatutnya kita sentiasa menisbahkan

selawat, salam dan doa kepada Baginda serta meminta syafaat," kata beliau.
